Explosives World Seminar 2009 went very well with specialists attending from sixteen countries. The presentations were expertly prepared and covered a whole range of topics around the core subject.

The Meercat Presentation was very well received. The pro-active table top exercise that develops a real time event was felt to be a new marker in counter-terrorism awareness. Details of the exercise can be obtained by request using the link as described below.

2010 Training Courses and Seminars

In 2010 we are providing focused training using highly experienced and qualified instructors. The courses can be from one day upwards and can be tailored to the individual needs of the delegates and their organisations with the appropriate instructor being briefed on the specifics required. The events are normally provided in the UK but courses can be arranged in country. Packages provide travel and refreshments during the day(s) of the tutorials but can be upgraded to include accommodation and evening events.

The over-riding objective of the Explosives World Programme is to provide a multi-level information platform to assist personnel world wide in the safer undertaking of tasks involving explosives and to facilitate a forum where relevant specialists are can interact with an exchange of information and ideas.

The Explosives World seminar and exhibition programme brings technicians, operatives, scientists, engineers, manufacturers and suppliers together. A wide range of topics are presented with an emphasis on new research and developments. In addition to the excellent standard of information presented by the speakers, the attendees are able to discuss, on a one to one basis, their personal requirements and experiences. We believe the only way to gain first hand information from a respected specialist is to be able to speak to them directly, the ExW seminar provides plenty of opportunity to make these contacts.

Equipment designers, manufacturers and suppliers are an important aspect of the continuing development of the over-all explosives industry and we believe it is important to provide ways for the commercial sector of the explosives community to meet with the procurement personnel and end users.
